Bob Olson

On July 7, 2009 Bob came into Ultrahealth with back pain so severe that it hurt him getting in and out of bed in the mornings.  It also hurt him doing flip turns when he swam.  And for him, this was a big problem since he is used to swimming 3000 yards a day, six days a week.  This was also a huge dilemma, since in six weeks, he was scheduled to compete in the US Master’s National Swimming Championships (50 Meter Long course), in Indianapolis.

Well, after undergoing six weeks of physical therapy at Ultrahealth, not only was Bob able to compete in the National Swimming Championships, but he placed third in the 50Fly.  His time of 30.13 was a life time best performance.  Bob is 60 years old! 

He also was 4^th in the 50Free: 27.93 (only 19/100 of a second behind first), and 6^th  in the 100 Free: 1:07.9.

“Thanks for your PT assistance for me this year---and in prior years.  This year, you got rid of my back pain and I am still doing the exercises you showed me to strengthen my legs for the fly.  You are the greatest.  Keep us aging athletes in the game (or swim.)”

In 2010, Bob is aiming to compete in the World Masters Championships in Sweden in August.  Yes, at 61, we are sure he will even be faster!
