Runner
Alex has posted the top time in the Dipsea race 8 times, tying an 18-year old record. Incredible! Prior to his 8th posting, Alex spent plenty of time at Ultrahealth rehabbing a serious Achilles injury. He's also been treated for back and hip injuries.
Rower
When Mag suffered a spiral break in her femur, things looked pretty grim. After surgery, Mag started rehab at Ultrahealth. All she wanted was to be able to walk again, unaided by a cane or walker, but her therapist, Marty, encouraged Mag to set her goals a higher. Within a year Mag was back with her rowing team, competing at Nationals.
Triathlete
Full time businessman, full time husband and Dad, became an Ironman when he finished the FullRev3 Ohio Ironman. The road to Ohio, though, was not an easy one, as he was hospitalized right in the middle of his training. The need for arthroscopic surgery on his right knee set his sights for "next year." Quality rehap, persistance and courage led this Ironman to the finish line.
Hiker
A fractured left shoulder cannot keep this woman off the trails! On the second day of her rehab, with her left arm in a sling, Kathy asked, "when can I get back on the trail?" Her 30 minute hikes soon led to 10 mile jaunts around Mt. Tam. Adherance to her rehab program has brought Kathy back to her "outdoor home!"
